Five Human Needs

I think that this simple and insightful definition of human needs will help you recognize your most important needs (and find yourself situated on the path towards self-actualization).

This picture [1] is the interpretation of a well known "Hierarchy of Human Needs" - a theory in psychology developed by the American psychologist A. H. Maslow. According to Maslow, the self-actualization or realization of one's potentials happens after the person's basic needs have been met.

The progression to the next level in Hierarchy would depend upon the fulfillment of previous set of needs [2]. If you'd like to read the detailed description of human needs you can click here.
